Ping Poulsen, CEO of Safis Solutions speaks at IU Kelly School of Business


INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana - Ping Poulsen, recognized life science expert, will speak at the IU Kelley School of Business course entitled “The Business of Life Sciences:  Global Events and Trends Impacting the Life Sciences Industries” on January 22, 2008 at 6:15pm.  This course and impressive lineup of speakers throughout the spring semester demonstrates the Kelley School’s dedicated support of the life science industry.  The focus of this course is to overview the key trends shaping the future of life sciences companies – demographics, globalization, regulation, cost controls, mergers and acquisitions, scientific discovery, and technological innovation. Guest speakers such as Ping Poulsen bring their real life experiences into the Kelley classroom. 

Ping Poulsen will be speaking on “Government Regulation at Home and Its’ Use as a Trade Barrier.”  She will cover such topics such as the path to drug and device approval, inspection & compliance, global quality standards, and implications for the product development life cycle.  

Ping Poulsen founded Safis Solutions, LLC and serves as its President and CEO.  Ping is regularly called upon to serve as an advisor and speak at life science venues.  She has been featured at Indiana Health Industry Forum’s events and currently serves on the Indiana University Kelley School of Business Life Sciences Industry Advisory Board.
