The Safis Story

Safis Solutions, LLC was founded by Ping Poulsen in 2002. Safis Solutions is a life science regulatory compliance consulting company serving pharmaceutical, medical device and biotech companies worldwide to ensure health authority requirements are met. Ping is an entrepreneurial success story. There are few female CEOs in life sciences, making her quite remarkable. Because of her incredible reputation and networking in the booming life sciences industry, the company has grown from 1 to 20 people in 5 years. She has successfully built and led the company to become the full service life science consulting powerhouse that it is today.

Under her leadership, Safis graduated from Indiana University's Emerging Technologies Center (IUETC), only the fourth company to do so. Ping is regularly called upon to serve as an advisor and speak at life science venues. She has been featured at the Indiana Health Industry Forum’s Innovention event and the Indiana Health Industry Forum/Barnes and Thornburg life science luncheon series, and currently serves on the Indiana University Kelley School of Business Life Sciences Industry Advisory Board.
